So recently we were given a group brief to work on which all about long term conditions and the mental health they go through whilst dealing with the hard struggles facing them every day already. With this brief, we were challenged to come up with a poster that talks to the target consumer we were given, making them feel less scared about the future with both these health worries.

Here are some questions we were given to answer about the poster:
1). Is the visual powerful?
Personally, I think it is powerful. We have been able to use colours that when overlaid with each other tend to catch eyes quickly. I also think the use of the scales allows the viewer's eyes to question what is going on as normally we see the main focus (the scales) first then see the rest that isn't in the main focal point later.
2). Will it attract the right attention?
I think that when we decided where is this going to be situated (mainly in a hospital/doctors as that is normally where people with long term health conditions spend most of their time) then we will be able to say that it will gain the right attention. I think at the moment it does because it shows a persons life with medication and them struggling.
3). How do you want the consumer to react with it?
I think that if the consumer were to act positively, feeling like they aren't alone as there is a poster dedicated to people like them, it allows them to maybe feel more open into sharing what's going on with them. I think if the poster can help people to engage in the conversation then we would have helped.
4). Hierarchy, what needs to be seen first?
We wanted to make it clear that you see the middle first with the person and the medication on the scales then see the slogan. We did it this way as this is what naturally happens with main focal points. We also saw that most of the posters we looked at had the image in the middle with the writing surrounding.
