Looking from my window

Since arriving at university the one thing that every person who has been in my room has been interested in was my view. From family to drunk friends, everyone has looked out those windows and seen the beautiful view I’m so lucky to see every day I live here.
The view from my window is a spectacle. The number of gazes people make as soon as they walk into my room once golden hour hits is a lot. To be fair I don’t blame them, the view is a beauty. It was probably the one thing that calmed me down when I spent my first night at my accommodation. Honestly, I don’t think anyone would be surprised in me saying that the look of the golden hour with a purple-tinted background, reminds me how high up I really am and yet there’s nothing to be afraid of (even though I am on the twelfth floor).
The best thing about my view is when I get home. Whether it be from having an all-day library session or a late seminar day, just getting back to the relaxation of my flat and opening the door to a golden room (at this point it will be golden in my whole room it's crazy) and just looking out is magical. I don’t think I can count the number of times I have taken a photo, as soon as I got back, of the view. Sometimes just before going out if the lighting good (rarely isn’t may I just add), I will take a few photos using the golden hour sun and there doesn’t need to be any editing done whatsoever. I really did get the best flat.
So here I share with you some of the photos of my beautiful flat as you‘ve all been waiting for.
