My outcomes from the outcomes stage

So as promised, I thought I would share with you the photos we took from the outcomes stage of our project. Firstly, what I thought I would do is show you some of the favourites that I have then share with you the actual ones we chose in the end.

Looking at this photo I found that due to the shutter speed it added depth to the photo. I think the fact that whilst we are slow there's so much going on in the background and foreground it follows a direction of where the eyes go. Firstly to the still imagery then zooming back out to the moved and blurred imagery.

The same goes for this photo as well but this time with the car there's almost an added sense of risk as the car seems so close at the front of the photo. I also like the way I seem so laid back whilst everything is moving around me.

The reason why I wanted this to be one of our final photos was mainly due to the way it's shot candid. I think the way the bag looks so out of place as it doesn't look right with the colour scheme is the right thing we needed for the shoot. It met the brief but when compared I don't think it was as strong.

This one would have been perfect as a second to final shot as it follows the story of why I left my bag behind at the end (spoiler alert). There's a sense of mystery with this photo as you ask why who I'm calling and why.

As much as I love the above and below I knew they won't have fit right with the overall theme and storyboard that we had created. The lighting was off with the street at night look we were aiming for so we knew we had to scrap these.

I think its a shame as this one looks amazing. The black night in the background contrasts the light inside. The fact that we got this shot with my eyes focused on something else or someone else allows the mystery we wanted to be there, but again the lighting just wouldn't have seemed right.
The final photos:

The bus stop

The journey

The destination

The twist
Let me know what you think? If I'm honest my favourite is the twist as I can actually see used for a brands campaign in a magazine or on a billboard.
