Music feeds the soul

Ok, so music is something that I think we can all agree is actually the best way we can express ourselves and connect with others from. I want to share with you all my personal experience with music and how it has helped me through the crazy journey that is life.
Firstly I want to explain that I am a lover of all different types of music, from indie to K-pop you play it and I'll probably love it. Secondly, I use to dance a lot when I was younger and so living through music was a must for me. Wow, that sounds like something out of step up. Jheez! Anyway, Dancing was a way for me to express my feeling because I would always try to hide them as a kid. Putting on a good song and letting all my feelings just rush through was that one feeling that I still love till this day.

Music is also a way of bringing people together. This can be said for the many friends I've made via twitter who share the same music taste as I do. It's amazing to share the same enjoyment with people about a new song coming out or when you're all waiting together for concert tickets to come out. My mum said it's like when she used to write to her pen pal as they would get excited about the bands of her time with her friend. It's funny to see that there wasn't actually a generation gap when it comes to making friends through music. No matter who you are you will have definitely met someone at a concert or festival and stayed in contact with them till now (and I hope longer).
Memories and music can also go together very well. The nostalgia playlist we all have on our Spotify that we created because the decades came to an end yesterday. I know it hurts. Imagine getting told this will be the decade you're going to get married. Thanks Grandma! The time you went on holiday and there was that one song you heard that just stuck with you the whole trip. For me, I still remember when I was 7 we went to Canada and the only thing we could play in the van was Mika. If you ask me to sing grace kelly or lollipop all the way through I will be able to even without the music.
The sad thing about memories and music is that it can have negative memories held together. There has always been two songs that I can't listen to without crying and they are Never Be Alone and A Little Too Much both from the Handwritten album by Shawn Mendes. Now I won't go into the reason why they mean a lot to me because I don't want to break my computer but let's just say that these songs helped a lot. It's crazy how your mind can immediately go to a certain place, time and age in your life as soon as you hear the first three bars.
My question to you is whats the song you will never get sick of? For me, its Still Don't Know My Name by Labrinth
Now if anyone is curious on my music taste I'm going to leave some of my Spotify playlist links here hope you enjoy (I know shameless plug but you know)
