About me

Hi, I'm Alice. I'm an 18 year old girl who's studying Fashion Communication and Promotion at uni.
My passion's lie with the world of fashion, photography and film. I love to experiment with different ideas and concepts, learning new skills on the way. I've always been one to understand to gain inspiration from anywhere so expect to see a lot of tv and fashion collection reviews.

Here I'm going to write about my favourite things as well as the lessons I learn on the way. Hope you enjoy my content.

Well hello. Now even though the Coronavirus outbreak is a serious subject that we should all be concerned about I have decided to do it in the most me way possible. Write a blog about it!

So here’s what I know so far. Currently, my university is open but all classes have stopped due to fear of face-to-face contact. We are also now being told in the UK that we have to go into self-isolation in the hope that the virus doesn’t spread any worse than it already has. Now to me, a girl who likes a good party and can’t stay in the house for more than two days, you can see that this is going to be a bit hard for me.

I keep picturing the other countries that have been doing this for a very long time and think that because they are doing fine so should I. I mean just because for some weird reason toilet roll has come off the shelves and people seem to be stocking up on pasta doesn’t mean I won’t survive. Right? Well, let’s hope that’s the case.

Now currently in the UK, the number of cases of the Coronavirus is 1543 people. Obviously this is a serious subject that we can’t take lightly and people are very scared at what the future holds for the country and for the world. People are being told to ignore social events stay indoors and if they feel any symptoms then to stay inside for 7 or more days to let the virus go through your system. At this given time we have been told to keep calm and like I said before stay indoors.

Personally, the idea of all this terrifies me to the point where I can’t put it around my brain. I think it’s good that our prime minister has now put us on lockdown rather than what he was saying before “wash your hands for 20 seconds... sing happy birthday twice“. Now I personally do not want that coming out of my countries leader, whilst about 2 hours plane journey away, there is a country that has been on locked for 10 days now. This whole thing is scary so hopefully, we'll stop the virus and get back to normal. Fingers crossed. I'll try to keep you updated throughout.

Stay safe and stay home

Alice
